If you view no other video the rest of your meditative life, please see this one about Jill Bolte Taylor.
She is a scientist specializing in brain disorders. In it, Dr. Taylor describes her self in the grips of a massive stroke, and discovers how the right hemisphere of our brain controls what I call the “meditative” side.
She ties science to spirituality!
It is a must see for all in search of the Higher Self and/or our place in the universe.

Cool. Don’t leave Nam without it!
Thanks, Sid. Once again, the right brain therapy is “right on.”

WOW what a find… to know that we can find nirvana by just going inside of ourselves. God really pointed her in the direction that can help so many others find peace that we are all searching for…Thank you for sharing your find, it really opened my mind to all the posiblities that we have inside of ourselves.
You don’t know what a thrill it is to hear from you.
You understand.
After viewing this video, you realize the “gift” science has provided the spiritual realm.
And all we have to do is go within to “let out” the “right” part of our brain.
Sounds too good to be true. But it IS!
michael j
Michael,
It is interesting that “gifts” come in strange packages…usually ones we try to resist and avoid.
Sid
Michael,
I have read your biography and find it very impressive…you can speak from many different and rich life experiences.
It is the “Hard Knocks” of life that creates a deep appreciation of the spiritual life… and necessary to understand the importance of “letting go” and surrender.
Sid
I caught this video on TED.com. It is wonderful. Her book, “My Stroke of Insight” is a must read.
I am adding the book to my Christmas list. thanks. michael j
Hi Contoveros,
thanks for the link…I will include your blog on my blog-roll.
Sid
My pleasure, Sid. You were the one to turn me onto the Buddhist monk review.
Thanks,
